Adoption Support Advocates (ASA) was created to specialize in restoring adoptee rights through legislation, educating the public about adoption issues, and providing support to those affected by adoption. We also promote understanding of the adoption process as experienced by adoptees by working with adoption agencies to provide potential adoptive parents with honest information about the adoptee experience. ASA works with adoptees and birth/natural families wishing to search and reunite as well.

ASA’s primary focus during the 2017 Texas legislative session is to change the current partial access laws to ensure all Texas born adult adoptees have equal access to their Original Birth Certificates (OBC). 2017 is going to be a great year for adoptee rights!
